Divorce is tough enough and now you’ve discovered that you are required to take a parenting course.
Maybe you’re telling yourself, “That’s awesome. My soon to be ex and I could use some pointers on how to be co-parents.”
Based on my experience though, I’m guessing you’re saying something like, “What a waste of time. It’s not going to change how my ex behaves. If we knew how to cooperate, we wouldn’t be getting a divorce!”
I bet you’re saying all that and more -with expletives. A lot of them.
Our 4-hour Parent Education and Family Stabilization course, a.k.a. “the divorce class” is designed to provide you easy access to completing the course.
Our course has been approved for every county in the state of Florida.
If, for any reason, your course is not accepted in a Florida divorce proceeding, we will provide you with a full refund.
Positive Family Transitions is a specialized program that includes the latest research on how to manage the challenges and opportunities of co-parenting following a separation.
When faced with a separation or divorce, it’s common to feel angry, sad, and resentful. Or perhaps you were never married, and you never anticipated spending a lifetime raising a child with your co-parent.
Years of study have proven that children benefit from the involvement of both parents. You’re probably expecting that creating a new structure for your family is going to be challenging.
You’re in good company.
The Positive Family Transitions class helps parents to transition into co-parenting roles in a positive manner. Divorce is designed to end your role as a spouse; your role as a parent continues.
During our 4-hour class, you’ll learn about what is likely to help you and your child transition into a new family routine. Our interactive class will include an invitation to share your experience or insights at select times. And, any insights you gain can also be kept completely private. No one is expected to divulge information about their partner, marriage, or children.
Our classes are taught by experienced instructors who specialize in parenting and family matters. Learn more about our instructors including Dr. Keating here.
We offer local group classes at various times and locations with easy 24/7 online registration.
Our 4-hour extended brunch course provides attendees with the opportunity to pair the co-parenting class with a casual brunch at a variety of local restaurants.
Finally, for parents who want to take the class privately or at a time of their convenience, we have individual, co-parent, and concierge services.
Our individual in-office private course sessions can be scheduled at our Trinity, Westshore, or Temple Terrace locations.
Our concierge services allow co-parents to receive the class at a location convenient for them such as their home or office. Our on-location course sessions are $1250. On-site classes can be provided to parents individually or with their co-parent.
We offer the Positive Family Transition 4-hour course in a variety of options to assist families with meeting the court requirement as easily as possible. You can attend a group class or a private individual or co-parent class in a variety of scheduled locations and times.
You can also schedule a private class with our office in a location of your choice.
